South Beach Diet Blues

I'M GOING TO MAUI IN MAY!! I'M TAGGING ALONG WITH CAM AND JENNY... AGAIN: )

Okay, they didn't have many magazine covers to choose from... I wanted a Shape magazine cover, but no such luck.

This picture was taken on the Kapalua beach in Maui about 4 years ago. I don't look like this anymore, hence the South Beach diet misery. The diet sucks all the enjoyment out of my life, but in return hopefully is sucking all the fat out of my body! We'll see if this diet helps me look like I am 20 again, otherwise people will most definitely think I have a really realistic fat suit on in Hawaii in May.

Do me a favor, and don't offer me cookies, cake, candy, any kind of carbs, or even fruit: ( And have pity on me... don't eat them in front of me! It's only been 4 days! How sad it that?

So, it wasn't my intention to go strawberry blonde... but, because my hair was so dark, I have to get lighter in phases! Phase 1! It's a little embarrasing: (

SUSHI!

I have discovered that I like sushi! My favorite is the vegas roll. Here's the crazy part... it has eel in it! It also has cream cheese in it as well... so it's sweet and creamy. Yum! I usually just play it safe and get the california roll, but I like the vegas roll better. You should all try it!

Hey Pretty Lady

This is one of my favorite pictures of my Momma... She was the funniest, prettiest, sweetest, most loving lady in the whole world, and I'm going to miss her VERY much.

I take comfort in knowing that she is free from her body here on earth and she is a beautiful angel in heaven. She sacrificed long enough to heal all of our hearts. I thought I'd never say this... but I'm looking forward to dying so I can be with her again : ) Till we meet again pretty lady!
