Last night, Connie and Tim so graciously let old maid mooch Carrie come over and enjoy the festive tradition of decorating the tree. We had fun watching Elf...

We sure did deck the halls huh! I'm glad that you were able to join in the fun of decorating the tree. It reminds me of when we were growing up and we all would get in on the tree decorating... nothing better! I swear that Harry knows when you are coming over... he comes out of his hiding spots outside or in the house to greet you. You are always welcome to come over and spend the holiday's with me... especially since Tim is working a lot during them! Love you!

Once again, I admire but do not understand your strength.
You have been through way, WAY too much for one person this past year and a half. If it were me in that picture, "cappy" wouldn't have his lid on... in fact, had it not been for you pulling me out of my personal hell, that's probably what I'd be doing right this second.
All I can think of is that you are a stronger person than I am and while my past trials ran over me like a train, they wouldn't have phased you so you needed something harder to test your faith.
Just keep swimming, and remember that Heavenly Father is preparing you and your "EC" for a blissful life together. Each asshole who hurts your feelings is going to make your REAL relationship that much happier and more meaningful.
I truly love you as a sister. I will see you in a few days. We'll paint the town with the silver bullet and Mariah!!

Carrie I love you! Just like Tiff's comment, you are one tough cookie! I seriously look up to you. You know that you are always invited at our parent's house for the holidays- last year was so much fun! :)
That is too funny. You are a strong little lady, Carrie. I don't think I would do as well as you in your situations. I HATE that you are single for the holidays....or that Mom isn't here. Dang it all! But, hey we are here for you. Come over anytime, ALL the time! I love you and want to help you feel happy for the holidays...you'll help me in return.
