WAKE UP MOMMA!

It's been seven months since the accident. Mom has made improvements little by little. A few days ago, she was squeezing my hand in response. She is so strong. She is my favorite lady.

NO MORE RED HAIR!

Oh my goodness. I am blond now. A little more blond than I'd like. It's about time I get rid of that red hair though!! Although the girls at work said they liked me better as a red head! That's crazy. I am at work right now, waiting for my last client. Stacy. She is getting her face waxed... ow. AND, possibly her eyebrows. Neat. She better not be late though, I have boot camp! This isn't my life's ambition... to wax. I feel like it's all I talk about. Sorry everyone. Just thought I'd update a little. No picture attachment yet, I still have hair dye on my forehead.

I Miss Dad!

My Dad is making Helsinki, Finland his home for the next 3 weeks. He is training to fly for Gemini... I'm not sure what kind of plane, but it's a big one! They are only a freight carrier. They use to let family come along, but because of 911, family can't anymore! Dang it! Dad gets to go to such cool places. The best one is Africa, where the pilots get there, go to the hotel to change, and then hop on the safari jeep!! No fair! He did say, however, that they fly to Afghanistan! Scary. I'm sure glad he was here for Fathers Day. I hope he's not too lonely there in Finland. He says there's a lake in front of the hotel, with green grass and pine trees like Pinetop. I can't wait for him to come home to tell me all about the Finland people, and his experience there. He texed me at 12:30 pm today and said he was getting ready for bed...that's a big time difference! The picture in Hawaii above is one of my favorites... doesn't he look like Rodney Dangerfield? I don't know what he was doing. It looks like he was showing us some kind of seed or nut. He was so intrigued with the ancient Polynesians and their way of life. He loved that Arboretum. Oh, it makes me laugh. That vacation was the most fun I have ever had with Dad. He is fun and relaxed in Hawaii! Aren't we all? I love you Dad!

Me and Wyatt

What is it with babies and my glasses? I think it's safe to say that I need new ones. Wyatt is my little buddy. He's the cutest little boy ever! He would say every one's name except mine for the longest time... now he says it all the time. I love it! I take pride in teaching him his moves... he's my little dancing partner. I don't know where he got his squat position from though. He does this funny squat position all the time! Wyatt is so generous and giving of his love and happiness. He makes people feel special, even at the age of 22 months! He is, and will grow up to be a very special person. I have a soft spot in my heart for Wyatt because he is the first to make me an "Auntie". I cherish the time I came out to Memphis before and after his birth... I stayed there for almost a month! I will never forget it. He's growing up so fast, with a growing vocabulary too! I can't wait to see what kind of person he grows up to be.

Maui Fever

Am I the only one with Maui fever going on? I don't know if I can wait till January for the next trip. The warm, sweet smelling breeze. The good food. The cool ocean. The list goes on... I find myself day dreaming all the time. I know Cameron and Jenny feel my pain.
Connie and Tim: You WILL be coming! I will steal a couple of dollars a day from your pocket book and stash it, Connie. Christine and Jared: You're on my list too! The more, the merrier! Let's start planning now... I'll make the lava flows. Or pina coladas, take your pick.

DIVORCED?!?

I think I'm divorced today! The hearing was at 1:00 today, and I hope he showed this time... if he did--PARTY! Don't show this to Eric, he will sue me for degradation of character. Not kidding!

Baby Luke Has Arrived!

My, oh my, what a cute little baby. Luke arrived around 2:20 early this morning. It was such a peaceful labor and delivery. Christine did so well, she said she didn't even feel like she did anything! I wish I can say that when I have my babies! Luke looks like he will have curly hair. He has Christine's lips (very shapely), and the rest looks like Jared. I think he'll be blond like Wyatt. I was pretty tired, since it was so early in the morning... but thanks to Jared, I had a grape Mister Misty Freeze from DQ to give me a sugar rush. It's so amazing to think that a new life has been brought to this earth. What a miracle! I told Christine and Jared that it would be a breeze to babysit Luke because he's so mellow. He is a perfect baby boy.

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles!

I finally finished! I've spent many hours of sweat and tears painting these three pictures. Just kidding! I painted these for Wyatt's room. He loves planes, trains, and especially cars. They are Pottery Barn Kids knock offs. It was really fun... I love to paint. My next project is 2 or 3 pictures for baby Luke's room. I can't wait to start!

Me and Abbey

This is one of my favorite pictures with Abbey. She loves playing with my glasses... smudging them, and bending them. That's why, when you see me, my glasses are always a little crooked. Either that, or one ear is higher than the other. Abbey is the cutest little girl ever! I am very lucky to be living with her. She keeps things simple. We sometimes watch Curious George together in the morning and share my breakfast. I pick her up and let her watch me cook sometimes too... she loves that. I love that she loves black olives just as much as I do. And I love the way she says "bye, bye" and waves her hand before she goes to bed. I haven't been able to babysit her ever since I got my job... I miss it! We were pals. I think it's funny that she all of a sudden develops amnesia on Sunday during Sacrament meeting. She pretends like she doesn't know me at all. She wont sit with me. That's Abbey though. She is one of a kind.

Please, come in and get a facial!

I am actually at work right now. Mondays I work from 9 to 5. Have I had any appointments? No! Not one! I've been reading my book in my freezing cold "crimson" room. This is the second time I've read this book too. Good thing I have a heating blanket on the facial bed. Otherwise my hands would've fallen off already. Whoever reads this... if you have any money, please come in and get a facial from me! Boy or girl! It looks like my paycheck wont make it past $200... that's just sad. I also do waxing, body wraps, back facials (which are really nice), I'll even zap your zits for you with the high frequency wand (if you have any)! You know what... you don't even have to get a service done. Just come in to keep me company.

Welcome to my blog!

This is better than scrapbooking in my opinion... and it doesn't cost any money! Those who know me, know that I am going through a rough time in my life right now. At the ripe age of 22, I am going through a divorce. Also, my sweet Momma has been in a semi comatose state for 6 1/2 months now. Even though this is all happening to me, life can still be sweet. My oldest sister, Christine, is having her 2nd baby in less than a week, my brother Cameron and his wife Jenny are in the adoption process, I get to live with my other sister Connie and her husband Tim and baby Abigail, and I have a great job at a very cool spa. I have so much to look forward to in my life, and I'm excited to document it all on this blog.
